doesn't anyone WORK anymore??


i mean, honestly, traffic normally doesn't bother me. it really isn't a big deal, and should be expected. that's just part of living in socal. there's a lot of cool stuff out here and i'm not the only one who knows about it.


traffic does annoy me, however, when it's at an unexpected time or caused by trite situation (as in like the 110N being slow because we're all looking at just how stopped up the 110S is).


unexpected time. like today, for instance. i just wanted to meet my friend at a restuarant in santa monica, right off the 10 freeway just about where it ends. i work in torrance. not too much to ask for, i don't presume. what should have taken (or could have, is i guess the realistic wording here...) maybe 15 minutes of freeway driving took 40. traffic on the 405 all the way to the 10, and even slow going on the 10. what's with that? there were no accidents, no adverse weather conditions, i mean, it was in the middle of the freakin' DAY people!

they really need to do something about this. and as soon as i find out who "they" are, i'll write them a letter.
