mtn. high was extremely crowded on saturday. it turns out that both bear mountain and snow summit sold out all their saturday tickets friday night, and everyone who got turned away headed out to mountain high. (i'd put a link up for mountain high's site, but it is so poorly developed that i'll save you the discontent)

yeah, so like they ran out of rental equipment, food, and actually had to stop selling tickets. the bottom of the mountain was pretty much a zoo, and if you had to use the restroom and were a girl, by chance, you'd be waiting in a 15-20 minute line.

it's pretty much all about being a guy (yeah, that whole standing-up thing).

anyways, the snow was great, however, and made for some great boarding. met up with my fellow saatchi production artist (even though he skis) and took on the more advanced runs (less crowded). great day, and i left the resort complete with a sunburn, chapped lips and less $9.75. (how much my lunch cost. we won't go there. i'm either bringing my next lunch or fasting.)

so, a good day. the only major issue i had was the fact that i ran into so many extremely rude people. the lift lines were worse than the 405 around santa monica, with some 10 year old punk trying to cut in front of me. fixed him up good, though, punched him in the face so hard that i broke his brand new, barely used goggles and his helmet fell off before he hit the ground. talk about a serious catharsis.

not really, but just the thought of doing so was completely satisfying.
