so what's been going on lately?
i've had graduation parties all over the place for the past week. been driving a lot, getting out there to show my face and express my proud-ness. remembering back when i graduated and all.. sheesh... one of the reasons i enjoy high school ministry...
have another downhill race on saturday. trying to decide if i'm going to do it, seeing how i need new tires, among other things. oh, DH tires are $50. per tire. when one's rent doubles, one's budget has to make at least a few changes.
i haven't done that yet.
i'll get started soon.
works going great. saatchi just merged with Publicis, of europe, and now we're the 5th largest advertising agency in the world. we've been within the top 5 in the world, according to billing, but now were up there just because of our size.
that's enough for now? yeah. i won't get into how i almost got pulled over today on the way to work. that wouldn't be a big deal, except that i live about 3.2 miles from my job. normally i'd ruthlessly laugh at someone who could manage to get a ticket in such a short distance, but...

so, using the elevator this morning after some chick who put on WAY too much perfume didn't really get me going. like, it was ridiculous. i couldn't breath. the elevator is just the wrong place for odor of any kind (yep, THAT kind too...). you walk in, not a care in the world, and right when you turn around to hit your floor, it happens.
moments before the doors close completely, you realize your eyes are beginning to water. then the doors close. and there is no escape. for FOUR FLOORS! egad.
ever seen someone run out of an elevator?
too bad. missed your chance.
anywhoo....

ok, go read this: Las Vegas-Style Slot Machines Come To SoCal.
see this line: Seventy-five percent of all Las Vegas revenues come from slot machines, which helps fuel the expansion of casinos and resorts.
now, think.
