sheesh.. mid july...

lotta stuff's going on. had the company car this past weekend. brand new, bright yellow, mr2 spyder. this is a crisp, fast car, people. spent the weekend driving to the beach and driving my friends around in a car i didn't own. good stuff.

going surfing with andy and aaron tomorrow morning.. first time in a LONG time (read: jonathan + wanna-be-surfer = poser...).

went to killian's with a few co-workers last nite.. (warning- images optimized for high-bandwidth) pics of my trip to pheonix coming soon.

just about solidified plans to fly to oakland next week, to see some friends and go to the original gordon biersch in palo alto...

oh, and summer is here. every day, even. get outside, and enjoy the sun.

even more open space out here than in washington, seemingly. quite hot (104-110), and quite absent of much green. but beautiful.

went to sedona with my dad yesterday, to check out all that 'red rock' stuff. pretty amazing scenery, and all i could think of was 'can that be climbed?'

back to california tonite, and back to the beach. this next week we've got plans to get out there and surf a few times. a friend of mine from hawaii moved out here and has been surfing more times in the past two weeks than i have in the past 2 years... (show off...) sheesh...

once again, back in town, and in one piece.

yesterday i helped a friend drive a moving truck down from vancouver, washington to LA. total driving time: 15.5 hours.

had never been to sacramento (or stockton, for that matter). i have now. not real itching to go back.

driving through south oregon and way northern california (ie. shasta) was quite nice, however. even found some rock faces that i'm curious about, climbing wise.

flying out to phoenix this weekend. rumor has it i'm gonna be taken to sedona...

currently in vancouver, washington (near ‘silicon forest’) for a wedding.

i’m a bit overwhelmed by how much open space there is out here...

so it's been all cloudy and balmy lately. like we live in the midwest or something...

all sunny in the morning; then these clouds kinda make their way in to block out ALL the blue in the sky, and drop this humid air everywhere. bleah.

i guess it doesn't matter anyway, i'm heading out to portland this weekend for a wedding. good friend of mine from days of old is leaving singledom.
seems like a lot of my friends are leaving singledom.

i dunno. i kinda like this place...
