check me out, i'm back in the states!

it's hard to believe it's already been a year; that i've already left, lived, and returned.

i had such a rich experience- special times with special people in a precious land. and, now that i've been back here in the states a few weeks, i've had days where my last year abroad seemed like a random dream. ugh. getting culture shocked by your own culture sure jacks one up...

thanks so much to all that welcomed me back. that took me out. and that helped me get back into this wacky place. you guys rule: heather-marie, fucci, sean, dixon, cindi, aimee f, katz, jd... i appreciate you guys so much. it's the first time in my life where the words "welcome back" held such meaning.

it is good to be back. i'm looking forward to heading back out to east asia, but it's good to be back. i've missed being here. i've missed being with you guys.

i've missed living this experience.
