well, another month in thailand, complete with visiting friends from the states, and now i'm back in east asia again and nearly back in language school (placement tests tomorrow...). i love this- transition.

time zones and currency; cultures and food. the more i experience different-ness, the more it seems a place in which i can make my home.

and today, it snowed. again. we were to have temperate winter, but we've had more coldness and snow this year than that last few years combined (or so the locals say, as i can only vouch for last year's winter. which, admittingly, was pretty weak.) good stuff.

and now, with the all the new year celebrations officially over (last week...), normalcy returns. more soon about fireworks- i spent US$12 on the coolest 3 minute pre-made-firework-show-in-a-box you could ever lug home and then ignite on your neighborhood street. man, do they need these things in the states...
