love it. back to the basics. it’s me realizing unless I make this thing real simple, and right now, I won’t go near it. so, here’s simple.

I mostly just wanted to say a big hello out yonder across the expanse of double-digit time-zones. hope things are going well, and you’re enjoying your easter season. they actually canceled class on friday, which is nothing short of incredible for east asia. but, alas, it wasn’t actually for easter, it was for a foreign student field trip out to a nearby national park and ending with a night of karaoke. I’ll pass and take my day at home, thanks. at least this time…

the heat in my apartment turned off about a week ago (controlled by the city), so my place has been hovering around 63F inside, demanding thick socks and a perma-worn heavy sweatshirt. spring’s been knocking, and we’ve actually had a few sunny days, so it shouldn’t be all-too-chilly in the house for much longer.

dave and JD are coming out here to visit next week! nice… gonna be sweet to see from friends from the states. gonna make ‘em eat some fun stuff, gonna make ‘em use a squatty. welcome to my everyday life, friends.
