wow. so, three cheers for the lunar calendar.

we just had a festival (based on the lunar calendar), celebrating the fact that we've reached the middle of fall out here, and since then: rain, clouds, coolness, and minimal sunshine.

while walking around outside the other day, a stranger exlaimed to me: "autumn's really arrived." indeed, i thought, conceding that it was the first day i'd worn jeans since last winter.

welcome back. hope things are well. things out here are great.
it was great to be in the States over the summer. thanks to all who made it special...
