heading back out to thailand tomorrow... another couple weeks of travel after another crazy semester out here. things are great. i've gotten used to 30 degree weather. (wasn't sure that was even possible...)

so, boarding a plane to a warmer place, seeing some friends (dave will be there again) and doing some rock climbing. probably should say something about how i haven't climbed in close to 2 years. but, whatever. a rock is a rock and gravity hasn't changed; even if i get to start over, it will only enable me to work some bad habits out of my basic technique... right? yeah, captain optimist, me.

life is good. much to be thankful for; many experiences to find joy in. how long is it going to be like this? even turning 30 last month wasn't at all a negative experience... it was sweet, actually. if anything, i was reminded about how much i've been given (a LOT), and how much yet remains to be uncovered.
