It Begins...


my good friend (and groomsman in my wedding) just moved to thailand. i'm excited for him and his new adventure. he lived in the same apartment and had the same job in the city i grew up in for nearly (over?) twelve years. now he's running around bangkok setting up his new life.. have fun out there, man!

(i'm trying to remember the last time i lived in any one place for over 5 years...)

including now. today we leave NC again for a few weeks- we've got some training to attend, and before that we're heading out to see family and friends in CA for the last time before shipping out overseas. central asia beckons, and miranda and i are well into transition mode. there's much to do (ever moved your life overseas?), and hopefully just enough time to get it all done...
